APPLYING FOR MY PENSION

Please contact the Fund Office at least 3 months prior to the date you plan to retire.

Call 780-465-2882 and press 2 for pension, or call Toll Free at:  1-800-268-3649.

Please provide the following:

1. Your Name and Stakeholder Number

2. Mailing Address

3. Phone number

4. Confirm if you have a Pension Partner

You will be asked for proof of age when applying for your pension.  Please have a copy of any of birth certificate, passport, citizenship card, valid driver’s license, Alberta Identification card or certified baptism certificate available at the time of retirement.

Pension options and amounts will be provided to you based on your circumstances.

There is a one month filing requirement. So, for example, if you apply in January, February is the one month waiting period and the pension starts on March 1st.

It is important the pension application is properly completed and returned promptly. Otherwise, the pension effective date will be changed.
