Course Description
This course is available to IBEW 424 members who are eligible for Education Benefits.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course discusses the roles and responsibilities of the Quality Inspector, Inspection and Test Plans, Project drawings and details, Proper use of testing equipment, Material receiving and preservation, Explanation of Inspection and Testing Electrical equipment as well as a hands-on component, including practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
Participant Requirement
Minimum 4th Year Apprentice
Equipment Required
Basic PPE: Protective Footwear (Steel Toed Boots), Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants and Hard Hat
